Biography
2015-2020
Born in southern South America (Argentina) and very Passionate about Nature, some of its properties and details, together with Humankind's mathematical models were formally learnt during a 6-year-long Bsc+Msc Physics degree. During that time several personal and academic projects were accomplished, and 3 years of work experience was accumulated mostly in Numerical Simulations, Data Analysis, and Software-assisted Design via both internships and part-time contracts.
2020-2021
With a great taste for programming and problem-solving, and supported by an hystrionic personality, I worked a little bit under a year in a post-sales role in a Telecommunication company mainly focused on customizing the software to the clients' needs, albeit a preference for mathematical modelling and physical systems motivated me to take the next step.
2021-2022
Taking great pride in being philosophically aligned with the European Union's core beliefs, and looking forward to participating in projects at the most technologically advanced Latin country, won a "French Quantum Technologies" fellowship to fund the study of High-Performance-Computing and it's link with Quantum Computing by participating one year in the Master in Parallel, Distributed and Quantum Computing at the recently created Behemoth the Paris-Saclay University. This enabled the participation in the French technology sector via two 4-month fixed-term contracts as a C++ developer: first for augmented reality applications in embedded systems at Paris, and second applied to numerical simulation software optimization in Intel supercomputers at Toulouse, in both cases inside the topic of Computational Fluid Dynamics.
2022-2023
Subsequent participation in European technological projects was constrained by settling in a more familiar location, so after moving to northern Italy I found the intersection of several interests inside my current company, Polus Tech. Besides having a great environment, this public-safety company aligns with my core ethical beliefs as I enjoy the most in a markeetplace where it's possible to make a positive impact for society. As a Senior C/C++ Developer the topics tackled are mainly concurrency and performance optimization in embedded systems, together with the possibility to keep learning the industry's standards in Telecommunication and CI/CD Best Practices, and as is usually the case the possibility to leverage analytics and automation using Python3.
Favourite topics
From the field of physics my favourite topics are statistical physics, complex systems, and fluid dynamics, and from Computer Science I find great joy in the fields of High Performance Computing, Optimization, and Machine Learning. Mathematical modelling is fun!
Other interests
My personal interests include practising sports such as squash, trekking, and pre-pandemics amateur Olympic-style weightlifting. I'm a quite histrionic individual so I enjoy joking around and playing music. With friends I like spending time watching movies and/or cooking, and I'm deeply passionate about animals. Culturally I enjoy very much both classical music in general and specific composers from the German, French and Italian baroque. My taste for Contemporary Academic Music still needs some nourishing!
